Oshawa Power lost yesterday 76-100 against the London Lightning, but this hasn’t stopped them from spreading holiday cheer.
The team was at the Lakeridge Health in Oshawa visiting patients on four of the floors like the emergency, pediatric and rehab sections.
Basketballs, t-shirts and team towels where given away and the team also signed autographs.
With this being the first season for the new team they are working to build community relationships. They will be facing the Lightning tomorrow.
The Oshawa powers have only one home game in January and will be raising money for cancer along with the other NBL teams throughout Canada. The Lakeridge Health will also partake in raising money for cancer.
Take a look at the video to see what the event was all about.
