"Find Yourself" at RMG exhibit

The Robert McLaughlin Gallery’s latest exhibit, Peter Smith: You May Find Yourself, is having its opening reception on Saturday Jan. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The exhibit was officially installed on Jan. 8 and communications co-ordinator Jacquie Severs says they’ve already had a decent turnout. Curator Ann MacDonald will be present at the reception and admission is free, refreshments are also provided.

Peter Smith’s work focuses on the feeling of “too much,” expressing his dissatisfaction with consumerism and the busyness of everyday life. Smith struggled with schizoaffective disorder in his late 20s; however, all his work was created later in life while healthy.
