Instructor Sherwin Charles drumming during a class

If you’re looking for music and culture, downtown Oshawa is the place to go. On most Monday evenings, the global and local art store Bola! hosts tribal drumming classes.
The classes which began on Sept. 19 are conducted on a drop-in basis. All experiences, if any are invited. The classes are by donation of pay-what-you-can, but the suggested price is $10.
If you have a drum you can bring it. Otherwise Bola! welcomes you to try one of their Djembe, dumbek or ashiko drums.
