If you’re ready for a change in your food selection, head down to Viva Burritos in downtown Oshawa located on 12 Centre St. N. for some authentic Mexican food to get your taste buds moving. Viva Burritos, which opened up in October 2009, offers a variety of Mexican food.
Restaurant owner Jesus Pena immigrated from Mexico where he held a job as an engineer. Upon moving to Canada, he decided to fuel his passion for the restaurant industry and open and manage his own business. He knew that Mexican food was a popular choice for eating out, and with that he changed his hobby into work.
At his restaurant, Pena serves food from the northern region of Mexico, but there are plenty more to explore. “There are different foods in every region,” he said. Viva Burritos cooks all the traditional Mexican food including burritos, quesadillas and tacos.
More information on the restaurant is available at www.vivaburritos.ca.
