March is Nutrition Month and downtown Oshawa’s Feel Good Natural Health Store is taking the campaign a step further.
By making their customers aware about the advantages of healthy living, Feel Good’s general manager Jason West is positive that the business is giving back to the downtown and greater community as best they can.
“With every person that comes here, we try to incorporate wellness and responsibility for their health,” West said. “It’s not so much we do this campaign once a year, we try to do it everyday.”
West added that it comes down to a better quality of life, sleep and eating habits for people who want a healthier lifestyle. The business currently sells supplementation and organic foods, free-range meats and gluten-free snacks. They also carry safer pet and cleaning supplies.
Feel Good currently has two stores. They have a location in Whitby and have been based at 129 King St. E. in downtown Oshawa for the past 13 years. In the last eight years, they’ve expanded to carry food, which West considers to be the most important start for anyone trying to better their health.
West has big hopes for Feel Good. He hopes to expand his store in the future to take up an entire street block. He foresees the opening of an organic deli and salad bar, where patrons can talk to a doctor and get some basic information from people who are also into health.
“We’re super happy and the community is growing and getting better. We’re excited to be here to serve the public.”
Feel Good is pleased to have on-staff nutritional doctors and others that are happy to answer questions and help get customers on the right track.
